Obama's Problems

This is unfortunately becoming Obama's big problem:

From The Gut by Thomas Friedman
Because, while the pollsters tell us it is still really close, my own totally unscientific, seat of the pants poll tells me this: When you say Obama’s name today and ask people for their first impression — a quick, flash, gut, first impression — no single word or phrase or policy comes to mind. His opponents will fill that vacuum if he doesn’t. They already are. Full Article Here.

But at least he has had enough of bullshit politics:

“Enough!” Mr. Obama said, interrupting a speech on education to address the latest controversy in the heated presidential campaign. “I don’t care what they say about me, but I love this country too much to let them take over another election with lies and phony outrage and swift boat politics. Enough is enough.” Read Article Here.

If McCain has used "lipstick on a pig" to describe any policy, and Hillary were Obama's Vp, would there be outrage? Didn't think so. We need to stop treating Palin as special or start treating all female candidates special. This includes Pelosi and Clinton.
